WE CURATE EXPERIENCES FOR UNAPOLOGETICALLY AMBITIOUS WOMEN
Tribe: /trīb/ communities or organizations of people who share a common interest, a group of people who live and/or work together in a shared geographical area, a tribe has a common culture, dialect and/or religion, with a strong sense of unity.
Her Tribe Group™ creates curated experiences for unapologetically ambitious women to be celebrated + build genuine relationships through networking opportunities and educational programming. In 2019, we kicked-off our 1st event entitled the SHECosystem Mixer; a cocktail reception for International Women's Day. This event inspired our current-day mission: create experiences focused around women building a tribe of like-minded individuals that will empower, support, celebrate, and honor the accomplishments of phenomenal women with awards for their contributions in the community.
Hosted annually each March during Women's history month, our inaugural launch of Her Tribe Brunch™ began in 2020. With the overwhelmingly positive response that we received, we knew that an experience of this caliber was necessary. Fun fact: we launched approximately one week prior to the pandemic shutdown. It was important for us to prioritize the health & safety of our tribes; we decided to postpone HTB in 2021, allowing us time to refine the vision to return bigger & better in 2022. Words simply cannot express the gratitude we felt being in the room with so many powerful people. We believe networking shouldn't be boring. We strategically create engaging sessions at each event to create a fun + safe spaces for women to connect with one another.
We bring together goal-oriented professionals, visionary entrepreneurs, influential start-up founders, inspiring influencers, and accomplished industry experts. Together, we form a powerhouse of collective wisdom and expertise. Women deserve to be seen and celebrated, period. Our goal is to create safe and enjoyable spaces for women to build genuine connections with other like-minded individuals in their career or entrepreneurial journey. We are a community of women who are goal-oriented, career driven, aspiring + tenured career professionals and entrepreneurs, start-up founders, influencers and industry experts.
We believe in the power of numbers; our mission is to expand Her Tribe into a community resource and platform for women to grow their network, build sisterhoods, attain + share knowledge, and much more.

BEHIND HER TRIBE
Salimah Abdul-Hakim, or as she's affectionally known as Chef Soleil, is the founder and creative director behind Her Tribe Group. She attributes many of her successes not only to her determination & drive, but having a supportive tribe of women, both personally and professionally, motivating and empowering her.
